BlueBox....

BlueBox is an internet based data acquisition unit. It can be linked to the very accurate AIC flowmeters or the CANBUS of the vehicle to provide vehicle and driver efficiency monitoring system. The system provides web-based reports of driver efficiency by monitoring driving distance and time, over revving, over speeding, excessive idling, severe braking, fuel consumption and non-economy driving. Used in conjunction with regular training, the system can help the fleet operator to reduce their fuel bills  by 10% or more per annum, year on year! Data upload to the internet is via the mobile GPRS data network and can be stored for several years in our secure internet based servers.

If you spend £30K or more per vehicle per year on fuel, a 5% reduction in costs from using BlueBox will result in a 2:1 repayment ratio. So for every £100 you pay towards your system, you can receive in the order £200 saving after costs.

 

Unrivalled Accuracy and Impartiality....

BlueBox is offered with the option of a patented Swiss made fuel flowmeter from AIC AG, which measures the fuel used by the engine with significantly more accuracy than a CANbus interface. This ensures the data is recorded in exactly the same way for every vehicle regardless of make. Btrack is the UK and Ireland sole distributor for the full range of the AIC diesel flowmeters.

 

We do the maths....

Unlike other systems, BlueBox automatically grades vehicle and driver efficiency providing a grading figure which is benchmarked against the best and worst results in your fleet. As efficiency improves, the system automatically recalculates the benchmarks ensuring drivers who make no progress are clearly identified against their colleagues.

 

Any make, any age....

As BlueBox does not rely wholely on the CANbus interface, it can be fitted to any make or age of vehicle. The system can be transferred to a new vehicle at any stage. However, BlueBox can be used with CANBUS system if the customer so wishes as long as they are aware that it will not be as accurate as the AIC diesel flowmeter.

 

Tracking or no tracking you choose....

BlueBox is available with or without our web based GPS tracking. So if you want to have GPS tracking, the Bluebox comes with optional GPS tracking module which can save the unnecessary extra expense of an additional sim card and a tracker.

 

Lower fuel costs = lower maintenance costs....
